About Us

EAW Consulting was established in 2014 and is operated by Dr Miles Dracup, underpinned by many years’ experience across government and industry. It provides specialist services in environment, agriculture, water and sustainability.

We operate in a range of areas, such as development of strategies and plans, performance assessment and improvement, management systems and auditing, risk and compliance management. We are particularly active in water conservation (e.g. water efficiency, licence conditions, drinking water quality), environmental management (e.g. auditing, monitoring, management systems (ISO 14001), compliance assessment, documentation and planning) and sustainability (e.g. strategy development).

We have undertaken work for large businesses (e.g. Water Corporation, Hancock Agriculture, GHD, Mineral Resources, SAMI Bitumen Technologies), medium businesses (e.g. C-Wise, Australian Mineral Fertilisers), and State (Department of Agriculture, Public Transport Authority, Main Roads WA, Department of Biodiversity and Attractions) and Local (Cottesloe, Mosman Park, Fremantle, South Perth, Mandurah, Cambridge) Governments.

Miles Profile

Dr Miles Dracup B Sc, B Sc Agric(Hons), B EIA, Ph D
Principal

Miles has strong skills in developing and auditing environmental and water management systems and plans, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, review and analysis of data and information, development of documentation, and research management. He has worked in business, government, and not-for-profit sectors over the last 30 years and has strong networks in, the agriculture, environment and water management fields.

Miles has Degrees in Science (Botany), Agricultural Science, and Environmental Impact Assessment. He has developed a broad and unique range of skills and knowledge in the environment, agriculture and water sectors. He is also an Exemplar Global accredited Lead Environmental Auditor, Waterwise Water Auditor and member of the Environmental Consultants Association of WA (recognised specialist in audit and management systems).

Away from work, Miles is passionate about sustainable living, sports, and nature. He has participated in the Board / Management Committee for many NGOs involved in climate change, sustainable living, bicycle transport, and triathlon.
